Lol, my sisters been given a £1300 repair bill by renault, the cars been in the family its whole life.

Needs new alternator, brakes all round, tyres, rust, cam belt, MOT, new steering column, coolant is like treacle, all sorts of shit lol.

The funny thing is, shes going ahead with it aswell lol

depending on what model of clio it is most of that should be easy, and 1300 quid :S coolant 5 quid, alt about 25 if you find a second hand on, all the pads and discs 150 to 250 depending on model tyres 100 to 300 depeneding on brand size ect, coloum 30 quid cambelt 80 quid then get a garage to do the mot.

may aswell service it aswell, would take a weekend if you have tools

well shafted lol, i have a mate who took his mr2 into toyota for a sevice and mot it cost him 2800 lol, that was cambelt, clutch, major service and an mot i laughed when he had that done got it all quoted up at a local place and it was about 600 :)
