pls help, oil pressure problems

just been to pick the missus up, down some fast twisties, notices when i stopped at a junction th oil pressure dropped to zilch, nadda, ZERO!! ive never notices this before, also an normal and fast driving sppeds with a warm engine, pressure seems to sit as 2.5/3 bar, is this normal,??

any help greatly appreciated!!

oh the car is a phas 3 (96) rsi 93k on the clock!!

That's normal - as long oil temp is around 90C-100C when driving normally, and rises a bit when caning it.

mine is just above zero (1/3 between 0 and 1) when over 90dc, as long as you are getting pressure whilst driving i wouldnt worry.

Manually check your oil level as well (i.e. with the dipstick) just in case.
