Wheels - refurb

Hi Guys..back again...
The latest re my Williams 3
I decided to go ahead and get it resprayed - i know some wil disagree but it needed tidying up - it looks great!!
However the wheels let it down badly :-(
So a question....the silver around the rim - is it paint or just the alloy laquered....Help!

Also any tips re tyres....

More importantly need some Williams 3 stickers asap, anyone know where i can get some....

Have a look int eh wheel refurb thread, IIRC they are laqured rims

Polished aluminium and then laquered is standard. To be honest you can get a reasonable finish with aluminium look paint as well though. Once its laquered its hard to tell any difference.

Sometimes its the only way if any repairs need to be done to the edge.

The rim is machined and polished then laquered.
