speedo flickers/noise from cluster?

noticed the speedo in my ph2 valver is flicking at low speeds,and a strange ticking can be heard from dash in the mornings! any ideas guys?

speedo cable is loosened at dials end :wink:

Speedo always flickers below 30mph. There is a part you can replace in gearbox, the part speedo cable clips into which can help but only with a new cable as well which hasn't had the edges rounded off.

My Rev counters playing up which causes a ticking noise. Hows your rev counter?

the rev counter seems ok but may possibly have a loose connection i spose?i will take cluster out and have a look,its got to a point where the ticking is driving me mad! cheers btw!
