need some help.....think ive broken my car!

was giving the engine bay a bit of a clean up today (car was running fine before hand) didnt do anything out of the ordinary just unplugged the ht leads and cleaned around them.
started the engine up and it appears to be misfiring, kind of chugging and the exhaust pops on its own.
checked all the plugs and theyre all sparking, checked the injector leads and there all fitted......
any other ideas?? this car always seems to go wrong at the worst times!

bang the h t leads downwards on your hand to see if there wet,mop up around the plugs...

ok just tried that, the leads are dry and I gave the plugs a wipe when I took them out to check they were sparking. seems to be a bit of oil down there.

you put them back on the right places ?

yeah pretty sure I did, the leads are different legnths so they only reach the plugs theyre supposed to.....

sounds like you've mixed two of them up mate, get the haynes out and check it, should be 1-3-4-2

just swapped them and it works fine now.....ooops :oops:
