Probably because the ones they (goodridge) supply for the williams are too short and get stretched at full lock.

Christ, wouldn't want to be surprised with only 1 side working when slowing down from 120!

I've heard of them failing a few times on several types of car. Hence why I'd never fit them. They usually fail at the ends though.

So if goodridge ones are too short/unreliable, what are the alternatives?

So if goodridge ones are too short/unreliable, what are the alternatives?

I can't see them being unreliable, they must have been fitted wrong for them to burst. The alternatives are getting a custom set knocked up via either goodridge themselves or http://hosesolutions.org.uk/ (Ben at hose solutions will know what you want if you tell him you want clio 16v ones but slightly longer)
