Have i killed my brake pad?

Whilst taking my calipers off my heavily lipped disc, i pulled a little too hard and a bit of my brake pad crumbled off :?

Have i killed it? Does it need replacing, or is it still ok to use?

i'd be sacking the pads off if they looked like that.

If anything, don't skimp on brakes. They are the bits that save your life :)

foot down pad crubles lots of noise as you get metal against metal and doh still didnt stop !

also you may want to renew your discs too if they have a massive lip, are they pited at all ?

not too expensive for new discs and pads and well your life is in their hands

I've got new discs in the garage as mine have a nice lip, so i'll just get some new pads when i whack those on :D
