i cant see that it is bigger as where would renault have got the space! also i think 35 litres sounds about right as when petrol used 2 be nearly £1 a litre is was paying about £34 to fill my rt, but now things like optimax are costing £45 a tank!

i just checked parkers and the rt is 43 litres and the valver is 50 litres!
right valver mine fuel tank is the same throughout the range but they were fitted with an axillary tank next to the spare wheel well on the drivers side.
i just checked parkers and the rt is 43 litres and the valver is 50 litres!
Thats def not right mate, its the willy tank that is 50ltr, the valver tank is 40, maybe 43 inc reserve.
Havent got a jiggery poo about the RT tho.

Valver tanks are 45L + 5L reserve = 50L
Valver tanks are 45L + 5L reserve = 50L
Well what is the willy tank then cos I know for a fact it is bigger! My valver tank takes about £42 to brim it, which I know is not 50 litres worth.

The williams and 16v petrol tanks have different part numbers, guess they're different ! I've always thought them to be the same
Thats another thing with Renault, why would they need to be different?
So they can charge extra for the "Williams" stuff.
Thought the tanks where the same tbh.
and me. think they changed design a little between phases but not capacity as far as i,m aware.
From the WC front page tech specs, 50Litres.
If anyone knows if there is a stamp on the underneath of the fuel tanks I'll go crawl under and have a look.
Aye the only thing that changed significantly was the fuel pump housing:
Early valvers seperate fuel pump and sender...
Later models have an all in one pump and sender.
This would surely affect part numbers of the tank.

You clever bastard  8)
done a bit of research to check what better parts willy has as standard to retro fit to the turbo. larger tank might have been useful. also better fuel pump. but there the same.

To answer the original question, lol, The RT tank is different But a PH3 tank is the same .... :? im confused. i need the ph2 oval plate code
basically, the differnce is 16v & Williams have the reserve tank giving the extra capacity THAT IS ALL
maxiboy, I take it you are running an uprated pump anyway?
yeah am running an evo pump and new fuel lines and an adjustable fuel regulator. want to be ready for the nos.
Why are you running new fuel lines?
I will need to upgrade the fuel pump and put in an FSE if I want to go for bigger jets.
What jets you plan on running then? Must be over 50
ive had an RT and now a Valver, the RT defo doesnt carry as much fuel as the valver
Can of worms guys!!!
Ph1/1.5 and Ph2 differences etc
RT's have the same reserve tank as a 16v
Why are you running new fuel lines? because the old ones were shot so fitted newer ones.
I will need to upgrade the fuel pump and put in an FSE if I want to go for bigger jets.
What jets you plan on running then? Must be over 50  not sure but nitrous has even bigger benefits on a turbo as it further cools the inlet charge so its a case of suck it and see at the moment.
winston there are changes in tanks but not capacity i believe. either 43 or 50
