Its got 2 renault 5 GTT lumps and both will be running around the 190-200 mark with some slight fettling. They're going for the quarter mile record !

Its going to be in PGTI this month out on the 12th of april, he's also gonna be at donny show this weekend on the "fast car" stand.

Thats all the info he's posted up on RTOC, I'll send him over this way.

They've been doing it with 5's for a few years now, the principle is really quite simple, weld some strut turrets from the front of a clio in the back and mount a subframe in the back too, gear-linkage is simple as the boxes are inline and both facing the same way so you just attach them both to the same stick, then its just a case of clutch and acc cable which shouldn't be too much fettling.

there's a company that can weld the turrets and subframe mounting points in, they've done a couple

My thoughts exactly, the extra power would outweigh the extra weight.

would also cost a hell of a lot more to do, 2 sorted gtt lumps would cost about 1-2k if you know the right people, 2 blown F7R's would set you back over 7k, the lad who built it put 4 months hard graft into it and isn't a "cheque book racer"

my friend has his own business Adrenaline Race and performance down here in northants and he had a GT5 turbo in while ago to have the gear linkages done, as it had stage 3 cosworth lump in the back!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
