Relays in engine bay

I have two missing relays from the box in the engine bay on the right hand side near the suspension strut. Are these relays likely to be anything to do with the alarm and could that explain why wen my alarm is set off the horn doesnt soud and the lights dont flash??

Any other suggestions very welcome

its unrelated, they wouldnt have had relays in from the factory.

what would they be for if something was fited?

im confused they have wires going off into the abyss of the engine bay and they have connections for realys but no relays in em, also there is a pllug in the back right of the engine bay not connected to anything, anybody got any ideas wat that is?

In the engine bay have no idea what this is sposed to plug into?

well same as mine, nothing in all 3 of those plugs/sockets. I think the big one is diagnostics or something maybe? I justtucked mine into the box where the other pictures you have posted

fair enuff just thought it was abit strange?? an im still learning about my car an trying to work out wats wat. i thought that might be a diagnostic port but the haynes manual says it in the fuse box under the glove box...




-----ok well moving on as i was hoping it was the relays but obviously not now, does anyone no y wen i lock my car wiv the fob it doesnt flash the hazards and why wen i set my alarm off only the hazards flash and no noise from siren/horn or flashing headlights?? :oops: :? :shock:

i take you have standard alarm? it doesnt flash hazards on locking the car or opening.

i get no noise or flashing headlights only the hazards i think the siren is dead

says in the manual it should lol i guess u have the same problem as me then, yer i have the standard alarm which im sure would do if it worked!

well i've never known for the hazarsd to flash on a standard alarm :?

well i dont kno enuff about the car yet but was reading through the clio manual thing and it said about the lights going wen u lock the car and open and also that wen it is set off the headlights siren/horn and hazards go off? also that to test perimeter sensors u put the key to accesory (1st click marked wiv an a) and then wen it senses movement the led goes on so u can wave ur hands in front of it to test it

if you remember these cars are left handers which have been remodeled for the uk, so instead of taking the loom out and changing it, they just left the original in and put more wires for the uk models, so you may find some extra plugs for things that should be on the other side.
