Am currently attacking an inlet manifold with a dremel to get that polished up (did the rocker by hand!!) but its proving annoying :(

Need to do a cam cover thingy bit too...

Also got a new coolant expansion tank!

£20 from GSF and it came in a Renault bag :D

The old one :(

What a luxury it is being able to see how much coolant I have :p

Thats why I don't want to put mine on - my coolants pink and with the dirty bottle just looks brown

by the way how long did it take you to polish the cover? did you do it on the car?

my coolant has been flushed so many times its fairly good!

Even if I have to buy a £20 bottle every two years, I'm not fussed!

Daz, I polished it off the car, didnt take too long... i did however drop it once i'd finished it on to tarmac, pitting the whole surface, so I had to do it again!!

But attack it with some 80grit and a sanding block to get rid of the pitting and the work it up with wet and dry and you could probably do it in a weekend

The inlet is proving annoying though :(

best thing to do before you fit it is plumb in a garden hose and undo a pipe at the end of the system... run it till the water is no longer rusty brown.
