The last two are a result of what happens when you let your mate drive the car :(

ahh we still speak, I just found out he's a TIT the hard way!

Never mind, I got his lovely rst after that.

He used to work for me & I knew him for a good few years,
he's a petrol head too with some nice cars, I asked him if he'd like to come along to a car shoot I'd been invited on...We were on our way to Rockingham raceway for PPC magazine (it was the one with the Yellow Delta in it, last months) I think the Jag took my place as he crashed it on the way up :cry:
Never mind, It was fun when it was alive!
185bhp, with a dog leg getrag box...road holding was absolutely astounding
it had done 202,000 miles when those pictures were taken,
The car was scrapped & the bits were sold to a mate who put them in his standard looking 190

never really paid any attention to the MPG, but it was about the same as my 306 GTi-6 whatever that does...30mpg if your lucky I guess :wink: ?

Shame it looked like a nice one! i left my 190 parked outside my house and i came back from work to find this !

I take it yours was a 2.3 16v not the 2.5 16v

2.5 16v is a much better engine.

Still a great car though

nar mine was a 1.8 but mint, and its not sat in a scrappy in york :S

They also used to do a 2.6 which was a lot more refined rather then a power house of an engine, more of a cruser with a bit of power
