like it says above if i leave my car running for say 20mins then i go to drive it the clutch pedel is dead hard to press but after i have driven it for a bit its ok do u think its best to put a new clutch in ???

Probably not, it's probably getting hot and therefore makes it more difficult for the cable to move.

Have you got a manifold heatsheild? I'm fairly sure it runs close to the manifold/downpipe, so it could be getting hot there..

That'll probably be your problem then.

I'd get that sorted ASAP if i were you! Your brakes will be MUCH better when you get a manifold heatsheild and you might find your clutch is a lot better, so give that a try.

my brakes ? ? how will it make them better is it putting heat through the brake pipes that run along there ??

Brake pipes run pretty dam close to the manifold, the heatshield there is to protect them, without it they get very hot and wont perform as well as they can do.
