:D Not a clue which is the strange thing....took the ecu out today as Andyvalver suggested to reset it. After dossing about with the 5 annoying bolts/nuts to get the thing out, left it a few hours stuck it back in. Went very slowly/coasting to the petrol station (new PB 106 miles on a tank! lol) running on fumes.
As soon as I put my foot down a little I could feel there seemed to be more resistance on the pedal, instant torque and better throttle response where before it was pretty gutless... Took the long way home!
Might go for willy track& coilovers now...hehe

Not really any mad mods...

2.0 Williams engine
Piper 270 cams/followers/pulleys
SMT6 Piggyback ECU
Hillpower 7k rev limit
Supersprint Manifold
S/s exhaust with de-cat
Stripped OUT!

J o n
17-05-2005, 19:36
Kent2002RN 260 degree ones, same mofo's as 2 lives... that duration seems to be the best on these engines, reason why I also went for similar ones

whoohoo!!

glad its back to full strength mate!!!

i reckon uv passed ti onto me pal, the scooby is not running right! only feels about 80% of the power under full throttle! changing plugs this weekend!

bloody cars!

Martin
18-05-2005, 20:58
Aye you take it for granted when they run right....but they are a right blag when something goes wrong specially when you don't know whats up!

Craig
18-05-2005, 21:16
aye tell me about it mate! not had a single prob since iv had it, but its just hesitant at full throttle and feels like its holding back.

its a bitch tho, its like a woman, unless u give it expensive parts like the most pricey bastard plugs, oil, leads etc then it spits its dummy out and runs like a dog!

im hoping its just plugs! got some today after ringing round loads of places. They were £19 each in most places!! never rate that!
