I think it might have been over on 16valver but a guy had swapped the heater controls with the stereo so a motorised screen would work. Looked ace! 8)

No it was the heater controls he swapped the stereo with, so when you open the flap for the stereo, the heater controls were there and the head unit was next to the clock. Looked smart in all fairness.

had a alpine cd player. took that away put a DVD player there.. and use the screen :wink: and plays Cds aswell just he screen as display :P)

I put my screen in the single din slot so it could still be "hidden".

I tried removing the air duct just like above, but it wasn't deep enough so I put everything back as I didn't like the idea of showing the unit to the public.

I'd be interested to see who replaced it with the heater controls though.

its the same as the way they do it in the five's... they put the heater controls where the headunit usually lives
