It is so anoying! I got through to an old bloke the other day who didnt know what I was going on about at all

sure thing. But only thing is, if im buying the stand alone ECU, I am seriously thinking about throttle bodies and going the whole way to make 200hp. I would have in the first place if I knew it was going to be like this only thing is, I will need more agressive cams I think as my current cams would be wasted on ITB's

looks good but pathetic stripping to be fair.

search for martins old hybrid on here - L GYW (?)

stripped to the mofo - almost everything can go in the name of weight saving.

- headlining
- dash
- sound deadening, inc stuff stuck to the floorpan
- Door cards
- speakers
- head unit
- all excess wiring
- electric sunroof swapped with manual one (or steel sheet  )
- one seat (with no subframe - just sidemounts)
- rear wiper mech and motor
- front window mechanisms ~ polycarb windows
- spare wheel and cage
- jack

even cut up the doors and tailgate, bumper inserts.

im sure there are loads more things that can be done. and yeah it is addictive!

yes mate..willbe cheaper than the £60 a side cobra want lol.....like i say tho, they can be made to fit other seats as well..not just cobras, all will need is measurements of the seat.

.....It seems like someone has spilt paint all over the passenger side footwell under the carpet, IT HAS TO BE THE NEXT NANA!!! The front sound deadening needs dash removal?

stew, that is quite a list.....

- headlining
- dash
- sound deadening, inc stuff stuck to the floorpan
- Door cards
- speakers
- head unit
- all excess wiring
- electric sunroof swapped with manual one (or steel sheet Twisted Evil )
- one seat (with no subframe - just sidemounts)
- rear wiper mech and motor
- front window mechanisms ~ polycarb windows
- spare wheel and cage
- jack

Only thing I cannot bring myself to remove is the head lining! Speakers and stereo will come out when im on track or down pod but I like abit of music when i'm stuck in traffic with my brutal, exhaust rattling idle 8)

Just cut the sound deadning out as far back as you can under the dash mate it weights a ton that shizz.

I'm gonna heat gun the floor before sunday's pod visit....gotta get a 13.4 lol

dont worry about the headlining it weighs sweet fa anyway. if you want a light clio change the engine. i got my clio gtt down to 810kg with no real major stripping. we will see how light i can get my r5 campus now even if i will be putting a f7r in :D

I live for the F7R mate, no other engine not a fan of the turbo clio's...High rev power from a F7 if good stuff  F7R in R5 sounds good!

sounds like a plan Gaz, I'm sure thats what Martin did in Nana before. He ran nothing really  he saw 14.0's all day long so after your head work and matching 13's should be easier to crack. I need front suspension, mine's f'ed! :(
