My engine bay is a disgrace, gave the rocker cover a bit of a clean 2 nite but iv a long way to go as im trying to keep it origional and clean.
Any tips on how to go about this??

get the injector plastic cover aswell, makes things look 100times better. I use WD40 to shine up the plastic covers, makes them look brand new :D if you have bits of old oil stuck to your head or fuel rail, buy some Brake Cleaner / Carb Cleaner and give them a blast, then wipe them over with a rag. Come up like new most of the time 8)

Get side engine mount cover aswell. Try spraying WD40 onto the water pipes too!

I did mine at the weekend, spray WD40 on an old rag and wipe over all the mucky bits, it comes up very shiney! As suggested, use a carb cleaner for the more difficult to reach places and use a brush to scrub clean. I was surprised how well this worked!

Try using brake / carb cleaner on the pipes and rub with a rag a few times. Then coat it in WD40. It should make it fade quite abit 8)

That bootle looks to far gone m8....better off just buying a new un! :lol:
