Is it possible to get the discs off easily whilst the suspension struts are not bolted on and whilst the driveshafts are out?

I'm currently taking my engine out and have noticed my discs have a major lip on them!

If not i'll just wait to change them until it's all back together again!

Cheers!

Actually i just thought about it, if i try to undo the large bolt whilst the driveshaft is out it'll just spin the shaft around, so that won't work!

Just ignore me, i'm a noob

How did you manage to get the shaft out with that big nut still in place?

For the disc just take the caliper off and take the 2 torx screws holding the discs on.

... they might need a little tap from behind to budge them if they are a bit tight to get off.

Ahh had a look at it today and looks like you're right.

Both my discs only have 1 torx screw holding them on, is this correct, or in an ideal world, should they have 2?

Will get that sorted before she's back on the road then!

Cheers all!

Ideally 2 but on my n/s i dont have any, just makes getting the wheel on a pain cause the disc spins as well, thats the only reason they are there really as the wheel bolts hold the disc firm.
