Tonight on way to work stereo went off then all dashlights dimmed & headlamps were like candles, as soon as I pulled over the car died & has no oomph to start at ll.
Alternator?
Just replaced battery two weeks ago.

If so prices etc please so I can get it sorted it morrow

Check the connections on the battery first.

Well I had to push car into a forecourt & come to work till 7am.
Will go back to it tomorrow & check connections etc.
If it is the alternator is it a pig of a job>?

Well my alternator was completely broken. all changed now. Also some dodgy wiring was fixed at same time. :)

Dodgy wiring is very common.
