I'm currently running 15's on my 16v and always have, but im tempted to upgrade to something NICE (i.e not some cheap shit like wolfrace/TSW etc) in;

16" or 17"

What do you guys think?

Im presuming that 17's will give shit handling and have a terrible reaction on the car, correct?

What about 16's, what do these drive like? Similar to 15's?

Opinions please?

I really like Prima Racings range of wheels, I think they're the best around for renaults, such as;

Don't bother, really don't bother, I've had 16's on my car for the last 12 months, loved the looks at first but then the ride really got to me and come tyre time REALLY got to me :x

15's every day of the week.

16's can look better, but the tyres are soo much more its not worth it.

15's on 195/45 rubber or 195/50 rubber.

cheap, light, look good.
:twisted:

Cheers for all the replies.

Im currently on toyo's 195/45/15 and the road holding is simply astonishing.

Was on 185/55/15 but above is like chalk and cheese to these.

Nice one maxiboy, wasn't aware prima wheels were heavy, but I think you boys on here are on 'light weight planet' here as you say nearly all wheels are heavy, Ive seen the comments previously!! 8)

Im currently on speedline phase 1 19 wheels, are these heavy on the grand scale of things, Ive never weighed em?????????

Cheers.

yeah but i,m used to heavy wheels. am running 16 kg 18,s. but the advantages out way the extra weight. think on standard clio,s you don,t want to increase the weight much over standard. think turbines were 14kg per corners with tyres.

^^^^They are the daddy mate. I had them on my old hybrid which i used to run 16" Turini's.

Transformed the handling on 15s 8)
