my car is going to mot garage today for emissions test again(3rd time lucky 1st time on a decat next time on my cat both times it failed) i have borrowed a cat off a williams 2 i have a 3 and the cat looks completely different to mine this shouldnt make any difference should it as long as its working order?

congratulations....i know if you bought a new cat from reno it wouldnt look as it did when it was new in 1995 mate. renault have updated certain parts over the years.

think maybe mine was original cat it weighed a ton as well this other 1 was alot smaller and lighter.
