gearbox refurb done. and its great!

555 notes all in.

5 hours labour at 30 notes an hour
375 for the gearbox man to do his bit.

car is running oh so sweet now. gearbox is firm, feels like a new car.

hopefully, nothing in the next 2/3 months will allow n/s reach arch and bumper to be done, then cams.

Whats up with your n/s rear arch? rusty?

What degree cams are you looking at? i want to fit cams to mine too.

last company to do arch used filler.

lasted 40 days before rust came back.

dont ever use goodwins in st annes.
i wouldnt mind, but i paid the going rate.


going to use "trident" who did my drivers door.

well i bought mine with a nice fat dent in the n/s rear quarter and need it sorting but luckily enough my mate is a sprayer and used to work for HB panelcraft (bentley/ferrari/porsche specialists in preston) so he is going to take car of it.

Also bits of laquer on the roof are coming off, so got white circles that need sorting out at the same time.


Fixed most of the bits that were wrong with the car already, just the cosmetic bits and bobs and the cooling system (havent had time to fit new fan switch, and low temp thermo yet)

would i be able to meet you 1 weekend and have a look at your williams?
