Mirror removal from Wing Mirror?

Hi, I've bought a new wing mirror, but I can't manage to get the mirror out of the old one. I've looked in the Haynes Manual and it's got 2 versions....one with a clip u have to remove and one where u put a screw driver through a whole in the bottom. It does'nt have a whole, and i can't c a clip.....any idea? :?

I just popped mine out with a screw driver i saw now clip at all. Clips straight back in place. Well mine did :)

They just pop out but be careful they crack easily.

the mk1 mirrors are different to mk2 i think...acording to haynes anyway!....be carfull not to break the clip the mirrors connected to!...i did this after i used 2 much force :roll:

Nasty....i does just pop out m8....was suprised I did'nt break it though. :lol:
