Kent say 10-12 lb ft (13.5 - 16 Nm). You've got uprated stainless steel bolts rather than the weaker black ones that normally come in the pulleys, have you?
yes mate cheers for that. still found a problem tonight with the bolts just catching the head on the exhaust pulley. could off been fatal when things got warm. had to remove the pulley and grind away the head a little.
 Lucky you spotted that mate, is it finished now?
yeah its all together just got to get some dyno time now.
Ah right, pics? Is it going on an engine dyno?
can,t do pics at the moment as my camera is refusing to get on with my computer. was alright the other day then refused to work. there,s pics here

up till just before i fitted the head.
yes just trying to sort dyno time as i,d like to run it in, tune it, make sure it does was it says on the tin and then fit it.
Looking good.
What sort of power you hoping for?
between 350 and 400 bhp if its driveable. trying to get a few maps done.
Crazy power. What turbo is that using?
modified t28 done buy bb. meant to be good for 400 ish without to much lag.
Yeah is that the same turbo that they used on the small turbo escort cosworth, they were supposed to be limited when taken up to big power (for a cossie) but were a lot more driveable due to being fairly lag free.
wheres it being dyno'd mate? Carmarthen?
yeah well i,d like big power but only with drive ability. if,s it not i,ll detune till it,s all drivable and fun. it,s my road car not a track or strip weapon so peak power not really important (well except in the pub) it,s all about the drive really. hoping to be able to run in car switchable maps so i can have more power if i want it.

:eeek: your engine build pics are awsome 8)

not sure yet talking to a few people.
Im not even sure I know of anyone who has a "tidy" set-up round here tbh.
yeah its not just the set up but the loom ecu hoses etc. as no one does a lot of renault its difficult to find anyone thats willing to take it on. but i,m talking to a few people so fingers crossed
