thats just bloody stupid, how is he going to make any business doing that? Surely not?
He obviously has too much money....if he can afford to ignore all his calls lol
Matt has been trying him for a month and a half.
bad crack if you ask me.

i think he gets too much business... well, more than he can cope with tbh as apparently he's in exceptionally high demand... but he should at least answer the phone I agree

Yeah he is a pain to get hold of, but like he says he has too much work to do to be answering calls all day, shit I know, he should get a secretary ideally, just keep trying I was doing it on and off for over a month!!
does no one live close and could pop in.
Gunner does. He popped in and saw me when my car was being mapped.

alright but no one seems to say much about hillpower?
i think hill power are highly thought of as well
but a lot of ppl live up north so chipwizzard gets a lot of custom
Ive heard only good things about chipwizards (well apart from the phone thing) Ive also heard that hillpower can be good as well but people dont rave on about it if you know what i mean!
Nick Hill is a user on here and has been on a bit recently, have you tried pm'ing him? Would also let somebody from up inth hills call in to chipwizards as well so you can get a decent idea.

Hillpower would be my choice.
Only person i trust with my car.
Mat.

I drove up to get wayne remap my car. Done 410 mile round trip
hill power now has rollers so he can map properly

What sort of gains did you see big hp? and on what mods? Is the mapping done on rollers or is there any live mapping on the road?
151.3 @ the wheels
Mods
supersprint 4-2-1 manifold
decat
magnex system
green filter
I'll be there again this year when i've got cams fitted.
in terms of power it only extracted another 6-7 bhp but made the world of difference on the road in terms of drivability etc. Defo worth the £400 it cost me.
Sorry forgot.
All on rollers.
Rollers are fully enclosed though and conditions can be simulated.
None of this rollers in the middle of a shop and a couple of desktop fans.
I would hazard a guess that you might see an even bigger improvement having a remap after cams/verniers as the fuelling map becomes that much more important. Thats some good gains on a largely standard engine though.
Hope so.
I'm hoping to see around 170 @ wheels with cams and headwork with this engine. Seems reasonable considering the power its making now.
It was RR'd @ Hillpower 2wks later and it made 147 @ wheels so is a real figure not a bullshit X amount + 10%

Cliolord, do you wanna orgainse somethin at hillpower?? maybe we could get discount?? :)
i have sent a couple of emails with no answer too lol
Apparently you've got no chance with emailing them!
i got lucky with Wayne, when i rang he answered first time and had just had a cancellation, my car went in 3 days after i rang him, however if i ever get my car mapped again it will go to hillpower, nothing but good from them.

sounds interesting. could you explain why you say that midge?
ive heard nothing but good things about both. price seems similar, but prob heard of some better gains/faster cars coming out from wayne @ chipwizards.

Exactly same with me. Got through 1st time and mapped 2 days later :D
Yeh i got there for 9 o clock. He didn't even start mapping till 12ish. Farting about answering phone etc. Ended up watching 2-3 of his dvd's and leaving bout 4 o clock.

Tried ringing wayne again today, he switched his bloody phone off after it rang twice or something. This is lame. After ringing Hillpower, i'm not sure if I want my car going there tbh I mean I told him my engine modifications and he said;
-We don't know if we can make your idle smoother
-I don't know if you should run it on super unleaded, ask the person who built your engine
-I can book you in on April 9th
-I will need your car for 2 days, so you will have to arrange for a lift

ALL I WANT IS A PISSING MAP ON MY CAR :( I am fed up of trying already this really sucks. This should be the easiest part of the whole fast hybrid creation
get a gunnerchip and see what you think.....
