I Have a valver, and when braking the pedal sometimes (when going slow) seems to lose pressure and I either have to pump the brake, or just press harder. Would this indicate that I have something wrong with the brake servo? (the brakes still work, you just have to apply more pressure and push the pedal futher down).

Could need a bleed. Could have a collapsed hose like I did which prevented a good bleed.

When I picked the car up, shortly after I did have to fill up the brake fluid, so I think that it may point to a leak. Rear handbrake is awful as well, so will investigate. (been so busy fixing all the other rubbish on the car or shifting all my stuff moving house/orgainsing getting married, just been busy :(

Glad it's not likely to be the Master cylinder cos that would be a right PITA.

Have to find someone with a breaker bar now as the wheel nuts are on so darn tight *grr*

Will bleed it soon as I get the wheels off  Unusually for me not to inspect everything and do a bleed.

be prepared to buy new rear calipers when bleeding.

Why is that?

Do the nipples snap off?

if they don't snap then the caliper threaded hole breaks away.

My old red 16v sprung a leak from the rear bias valve.
