little did i know that the clip on the inside of the centre cap was gonna break, then the cap didn't fit properly, then the clip snapped and i lost the cap.......i managed to find it on the side of the road after going back on my journey, was quite lucky

went to have it fixed at a metal workshop, he said he'd done it, and it looked ok, so i put it back on, then it fell off again but damaged the wheel on the way, so now i have the spare on and have to refurb the wheel again, so its now masked and sanded and primed.....all over again, need a new centre cap also

nah mum just said something earlier that kinda makes sense

"you spend alot of time effort and money keeping that car pristine, but you have got to accept at somepoint it is not possible when you use it everyday"

i think shes right, i dunno.....lol

cheers for the heads up on the centre caps, hopefully i will find one to fit, have to run on the spare for a week now anyway, the wheel has to re-cure

Lol your Mum is right! Just have fun with it while you still have it. Save the money you spend on polish and bits and just hybrid it like you want to! Much more fun bud....
