Been cleaning the car today and general TLC so i decided to be ultra thorough and took off the rear bump strips. this is when i noticed that the passenger side rear quarter bump strip is too long! its about 1 inch or so longer than the drivers side and so is a bad fit, to make things worse the clips were already broke and it was taped on!

any idea as to why its longer? obviously its a replacement from a different car, how can i remedy it? anyone know what cars the bump strips are unique too? went to a scrappers today and the 2 hey had were different, very narrow. Where can i get a replacement as im not happy bodging it up, do renault stock and sell the bump strip clips that twist into the quarter panel to hold it on?

Matt Brown or Winston, dont suppose you guys have one?

its longer because its off a 1.2 3 door.

I discovered this when i thought i hit lucky with a missing on mine.

The clips can be bought new - the actuall rubstrip is expensive from memory for just a piece of moulded plastic.

the clips brand new from renault come complete ( the bit that twists into the body and the bit that slides onto the bump strip) i bought some from renault about a year ago.

Clips holding the side bump strips on 50p(may have changed tho) each (you get both body and bump strip bits though)
