What Oil Please

I have a Clio 1.8 16v running 143 bhp , Chipped , with full ss exhaust etc

must admit car is driven quite hard , also have a low temp thermostat and low temp fan switch so the car runs fairly cool , oil stays around 87 degrees max and water around the first notch .. engine done 87k miles

Basic info on the engine ..

need to change oil just want to know whats best for my engine as it runs
fairly cool should i be putting any percific type

Go for a 5w-40 Fully Synthetic Oil.

the low temp thermostat makes your car run cooler than it should do, id stick to a normal one

£14 low temp fan switch
£16 low temp thermostat but you can get thermostat from halfords £8
