just wondering what other peoples opinions on kendos refurbs wheels are? saw them in pics of his willy 3 and to me they look spot on even the rim. he has the name and number of the company that did them. maybe we should look into a group buy??

tbh mate i'd just get it done yourself as it seems group buys always go tits up cos everyone doesn't have th emoney at the same time or someone feels they aren't right :)

They look a little light. One thing ive noticed is the proper colour comes out very dark on pics.

Having said that sometimes they dont.

Thats why they are so expensive. Nono of this crappy 172 / 182 easy wheels malarky

Renault know, I'm sure, that they are very difficult (impossible?) to get 100% right, so they keep the price high.

They have to.. heh.

If mechanically and bodywork wise my car was A1, I would buy new wheels, however that is never likely to happen....therefore would settle for refurb thats 95% right.

Does anyone actually know how long from new that these speedlines start to get damaged or start showing signs of wear...if its not long £200 a pop is steep!!

From what people have said refurbs can last as little as 1 year.

The speedlines on 0002 are pretty mint and 10 years old.

I would buy brand new ones, and also buy some seconds hand steelie for winter use.
