is there a shorter final drive that will fit in a williams box. basically my limiters set to 7200 and i'd like to get to it quicker. not too fused bout losing some top end as it's rarely used

and me...

think the kangoo box mite have shorter ratios that can be used. no idea about just replacing the final drive as it would be a £££ job imo.

final drives are easy to change as long as the pinion shaft gears(think thats wat thier called) has the same angled teeth as the crown wheel pinion. in my experience other manufacturers use the same final drive but different ratio across the range of boxes of that era. what i would like to find out ideally is the gear ratios and final drives of the 91-97 clio range, so i can see if i can mix and match me up a box
