View Full Version : Oil clocks, wiring into 1.4

Right i've asked this before, I gave it ago the other day, managed to get all the lighting working and the oil level but I can't get the other 2 working.

In the other valver the wires led to a brown plug in the dash and this is what I had:

B3- Purple
B5 - Orange/red
C2 - Dark White
B4 - White
B7 - Grey.

Anyone know which is which? I connected the wires from the clocks to the plug but like I say the oil level is the only one that works :/ I've looked in the bay and all wires seem to be there too.

they will only light up, only the oil level will work on startup but the sensors will not work with the dials on non valver models...

mine are the same.

could anyone check which wires go the brown block on their valvers for me?

eg oil temp c3 on the brown plug in that black box.

You're lucky, my 1.4 has the loom but the oil level dial does not even work. I had to cross-wire the dials to get them to display something...

^^ forget what i just said, didn't realise that you had the valver engine and loom in :oops:
