Car hates the wet

My car runs fine, except when i drive it in the wet. After a run in the wet, it missfires and generally runs like poo until its warmed up on a long journey.

Where can the water be getting in, and what will it be effecting?


Leds / plugs / dissicap are all new. Engine recently rebuilt. I think i must be missing some cover / guard off something and the water is getting in somewhere.

check the bonet vent, maybe your getting water into the plugs from the vent or somthing

yup, as Allan says, I went through a puddle the other week and the car almost cut out... take it to quick fit and take the leads out and get em to blast it with compressed air then take it for a good 30 minute drive. If it is the plugs then it should be fine after that.

aye driving through a massive flood turned my williams into a scooby sounding beast..pity it was a fair bit slower on 3 cylinders! lol

So williams' are crap in the wet then. haha. Good plan for a rally car reno :roll:
