I assume this can be done but what needs to go and what needs to be put in?

remove fuse and dash bulb!! ;)

Did it yesterday, went for a drive this evening in the wet and its so much better!! abs doesnt kick in at ridiculous moments when braking now! :)

I knew that. Used that trick many a time on track. However, as it's going to be used solely on track I thought it might as well be fully removed. :twisted:

yes remove that big block of gubbins and reroute the pipes

Nope not as easy as that. You need the non abs master cylinder and all new brakelines.

New brake lines between the new master cylinder and the old pipes that came from the ABS unit.

It's only a few quid a foot for the pipes! And master cylinders must be able to be had for less than 50 quid? :lol:

Its a lot of effort lol kunifer pipe is cheap but then you need a pipe bender, cutter, flaring tool etc etc lol

i think its easy and well worth the effort. tools can be had for twenty quid. my only advice is to do it at the same time as you have the engine out. otherwise its a bitch.

You've also got to get the unions off at each end of the old brake line lol

Oh, and I'll be taking all my pipes out anyway to replumb with an adjustable bias control, so if you get a valver master cylinder then you could have my old pipes to save you cutting/flaring, etc.!
