My Magnex + de-cat sag like a bitch where the de-cat connects to the Magnex system. What have people doing to stop this? I was thinking of getting a local company to weld an extra piece into the Magnex system so i can do away with the de-cat pipe I have and connect it straight to the williams downpipe that will be fitted at the same time.

This sound like a good/bad idea?

Also since my car was lowered, on idle i get a nice knocking sound which i can only assume if from my exhaust as it clears when reved slightly.

Whats the best way to solve this?

side exit be the way forward...

seems like ive started something!

northy, gaz, martin, jay, bayliss, rich etc all at cadwell will be able to tell you how loud it was! that was no cat, with one silencer.

it now has 2 silencers and is much better, but still quite loud. loud in a good way though!

speed bumps are now a total fu ckin nightmare!!!

It was stupidly loud lol and not in a good way...sounded like well the exhaust had fallen off!

Hope it's more civilised now.....I'm concerned about losing performance so I'm not going there anytime soon.

as it happens jay beat me last saturday for the first time ever, thing is i cant see how the exhaust is going to lose performance, back pressure after the manifold doesnt realy matter.

Mine is no louder than it was before, sounds nice now and chucks out the big flames.

i did a ccustom exhaust...becuase i had the same problems..
so i welded the bastard up in the bend area people are talking about...and then put a silencer on and some custom pipes.....took bloody ages...but sits nice n flush now:)
