hhm not sure, maby there isnt. Was told by the previous owner that when he did the gearbox, there was different gears used, is that a possiblilty?? or a bit of billy bull? Its the original gearbox casing aswell, if that makes a difference??

Cheers,

Don't really take much notice of all the different 'box variations available, but I thought they (Willy, Valver, R19, etc) were all much the same (apart from the Willy has a longer fifth?). Then there's the Kangoo 'box, whatever that does! I would've thought that if there was a shorter ratio 'box every speed monkey on here would have one fitted already! So perhaps a bit of Billy BS... but don't take my word for it!

Ah! lol cheers :P

Suppose there isnt really a way of telling? Does 60 in 2nd and 100 in 3rd gear (that sound about the norm?) but that isnt pushing it real hard, havnt had it flat out yet (5th) as i value my driving licence too much! :P and tracks over here arent really long enough!

That sounds about normal tbh, defo not any shorter than my (standard) ratio's. Still a lovely car though fella!

Have been doing some research/homework and what i presumed to be Etruscan red (719) actually turned out to be Carmen red :P

Don't know if its any rarer or anything but just to be a bit more accurate!

they look very similar to me but thats what the code actually refers to, if someone could change the colour in the title that would be great :D

Darren

Hi guys, few better pics (daytime) as promised.

Still trying to source the Turbine wheels for it, but the black had began to grow on me. They will do anyway until i can source some turbines!

Have been concentrating on tidying the engine bay up and a few bits and pieces on the inside, but gave it a wash today so myself and the brother decided to make the most of the sun and get a few pics of both of our cars, but it started to rain on the way there! Sods law!

Also have completed servicing on the engine so it will be on the RR asap just for curiosity.

OOooo what strut brace is that? 8)

I think its a sparco strut brace, before i started with the engine bay, it was powder coated red and had the remains of a sparco sticker on it (see pic above) but i suppose someone could have just stuck that on! ill have a look and see if there is anything stamped on it or anything.

Had a look there the only markings are on the rose joints that adjust the tension on the strut bar. It says "Made in Italy" Think sparco is Italian?

Cheers guys, im planning on keeping this updated, next will most likely be the results from the RR. :)

Hi guys,

just a wee question,

I fitted my Cold Air Feed yesterday to the standard airbox, wanted to keep my fogs so aimed to use the space beside the passenger fog.

Anyway came to cutting it to length, and sort of guessed the length as you cant get it up towards the hole in the bumper without cutting it.

Thought id left plenty extra but turns out its probably a little short, it sort of heads off at an angle.
Fixed it in place, but was wondering if it will still do the job, or will it not be getting the air the same now? Few pics below:

Ohh and yes i know i need new fogs! Any suggestions for which? Yellow or clear?
