Can use a valver ECU and change the chip.

Gunnerchip might be a good idea, or an original willy map if you can find a chip for sale

Or you can use a valver ECU and have the car live remmaped at somewhere like chipwizards for £350.

Yeah but thats not common to find a willy chip on its own as its usually in a willy ECU (funny that eh? :P )

so basicly i can use a cip upgrade that is ment to be for a williams and use it in my 1.8 ecu,as it would be the same as chipping a williams ecu anyway?

As far as i know yes, you may want some other confirmation from others before you go ahead tho.

If you want a standard ecu I have just had a gunnerchip fitted so I could sell you my standard one for a tenner as i dont think i will ever put it back in. I may get a remap but I would just get the gunnerchip remapped rather then going through the hassle of unsoldering it. Or if you want raised limiter then just go for a gunnerchip. I have already raved about it in a cheesy american-advert style post elsewhere on this forum......
