on the look out for some buckets and am slightly torn between the 2 kinds,

i will not be using the rear of my car for anything so thats not an issue, it will not be for serious trackday use although may do a few.

whats people views / opinions on either?

if there good quality then fixed buckets are really comfy. do a few miles in mine. in reality how often do you adjust or recline your seats. i never adjust mine day to day. so important to try them first. then shop around on the internet for best price

For me recliners are just too similar to standard seats.....buckets all the way.

yeah fixed buckets are better, mine are pretty comfy even after 3hr drive to wales was fine!

Fixed buckets for me too. More comfortable than they actually look.

As well as comfort issues, I don't think there's a reclining bucket out there that's anywhere near as good looking as a fixed-back 8)

i like fixed, stops people adjusting the seats which really gets on my nerves!!! 8)
