aye but space savers are usually only 3/4 inches wide, rather than the 6.5/7 of an alloy.
get the scales out, or ditch the spare all together.

2 cans and RAC!
Don't feel 100% safe though sometimes.. don't like the thought of a real emergency coming into play and I'm sat there waiting for mr rac man because I wouldn't run a spare...
never ran a spare on my valver for years, just a can of tyre weld.......................luckily it was never needed
I never run a spare .....Drive on the rim if i really have too lol
Spacer savers will weigh as much as a willy wheel .....Which is more pimp hmmmm?

I thought space savers (the ones that look like vespa wheels) typically weigh less than 5 kg (that's with tyres on). I was looking for one for wife's car sometime ago, but the shipping was a killer.
aye..couple tins o tyre weld ;)
dont liek tyre weld, means you cant repair the tyre once it comes off!
Never had a spare wheel...wouldn't fit under witht the big box i had so i had a can of that tyre weld stuff.
My Elise don't have a spare (where would it go  ) so as std they come with a can of tire weld mounted on a bracket under the bonnet ;)
