At weekend the kind lad bayliss had a crack at my torsion bar but due to it being a Kreg open torsion bar....It was rusty and seized as a mofo.

So the idea is to put the torion bar/full rear axel from his burn't out valver (all ready lowered and lose) on to my car before FCS

Your views on the plan please peeps....will it be Ok?????

PS....Big shout to Bayliss for helping me sort this problem....he the man!!! :D

Cheers

Just get a acetylene torch on it... bit of heat will soon losen her up!

Can't see any reason why not, as said above make sure the heat hasn't warped it

I wouldn't use it as its been exposed to extreme temperatures. May be warped or could of softened the steel meaning its liable to distortion.

IMHO i'd stick with your torsion bar. Heat it up and it'll move. Better and easier then changing beams.
