Would a williams having had seven previous owners put you off from buying it. I've been speaking to a guy about his car and it has less than 70,000 miles on it with all the old mot's and it has a service history but the amount of owners is puting me off. What do you think?

If the mileage is verified and theres history with the car then i dont see the problem tbh. You have to remember that the car is what, 13/14 years old now, so is bound to have had a few owners.

These cars tend to have quite a few owners, you have to bear in mind the age to. It wouldnt out me off as long as all the receipts tie in with the milage and the car has no obvious signs of neglect or abuse.

Exactly. Not that I'd usually compare the two, but Ferraris tend to have loads of owners for the age/mileage. All depends on the type of car. Wouldn't bother me personally, so long as the rest of the car stacked up.

mines had 5 previous owners (so thats 6) and mine has given me v little trouble, condition is most important not the no. of owners.

as previously suggested, high performance cars like this are invariably bought as toys or second cars so dont do everyday mile munching. hence the below average mileage but average - above average owners. The only time i would be wary of loads of previous owners is if its a tell tale that the car is a lemon and people have unwittingly bought it, realised and then tried to get shut. if the car is A1 then i wouldnt give a monkey's if it had 32 previous owners. For me, previous owners only comes into play when you are spending big money on a car and making a substantial investment, £10,15,20k+ as it can affect the resale. At williams money i wouldnt bother as long as the car is good.
