For ease of getting them Gsf would be best for discs and pads
So some brembo max discs and some Pagid fast road pads would be a good combination.
You dont need grooved for rear. The standards from gsf are good and not badly priced.

German sweedish and french car parts.
Theres one in southampton, Justin knows where that is, and a nice new one in Portsmouth who are always friendly and offer car club discount.
Think a pair of discs was around £60 iirc.

Im not sure of a good refurb place. I know a good powdercoaters though.

Or there's a Euro Car Parts just off Millbrook road, near to Homebase/Comet/Superbowl.

I should have known what Gsf was since ive been there 3 times just down road from where i work in totton gone for standard discs all round for min as saving my money for srvice and cam belt change. Going to go for better pads though as had padgid fast road pads on one of my old car and i really noticed the difference.

If you are changing pads - check that the calipers and guide pins are moving freely. They do tend to get sticky in the clio and would negate the benefits of the new pads.
