why?

Why do people (no names mentioned) send you ****ing silly offers over PM without even looking at the car?

Personally, I have never made an offer on a car without viewing it first, it's just a bellends action

****ing winds me up

It was an offer of £1000.

At the end of the day is it an 11/12 year old clio on 131k with rust.

I sold my old one a year ago which basically identicle execpt for an expensive HU and bucket seats for £1300 iirc

As for not looking at it. I'd expect it to be the same as all the other valvers i've driven lol

What you sold a car for in the past has **** all to do with it.

Christ, i sold an XR2 a while back for £400, can't find them for souble that price these days.

It's got a Private plate, uber expensive HU, freshly painted wheels, newer engine etc etc.

I'm not getting into a debate about it with you, but if you want to spend a grand on a valver, you better be looking elsewhere.

I think £1500 is reasonable for mine as a starting point. However, if someone was to actually view and drive the car and point things out to me which I hadn't noticed before, then maybe I would drop the price

£1k though i agree with McPikie,

thats £600 off the original price, bit daft aint it ONO tends to me mean maybe £100 or £200 less than the asking price thats just my opinion though

PMSL@ this thread!!

To be fair...if i was intrested in a car, i would defo PM with an offer without seeing it..and yes it would likely be £500 under the asking price..its the way of the world.

At the end of the day, if you advertise a car in the paper, youve got to expect people foning and saying "whats the lowest you'll take"..or "will you take £1000". same shit. I know I do it. your daft not to imo. THEN you go and see it, and if its what you want you pay the money.
