make notes take photo,s as you remove the old one so you get the bushes the right way round. also there is a guide in the haynes manual. have you got one otherwise i could scan it and e-mail it to you. or post it up.

From what i remember the easiest way is to first familiarise yourself with the clutch assembly...

1. Release the clutch cable from the selector fork (remove the air box for access)

2. Push the pedal to the floor to release the ratchet and release the clutch cable

3. Remove the clutch pedal retaing clip (left hand side)

4. Remove the 2xM10 Nuts and pedal assembly side housing...

4. Then pull the other retaining clip together and slide the shaft out (right hand side)

5. The clutch cable will most likely just fall to bits now... lol

6. Assemble the new clutch pedal assembly and spring holding it together...

7. Slide the shaft back through making sure the bushes stay in place

8. Re-attatch the side housing and tighten up...

9. Best thing i found now is to remove the right hand retaining clip!

10. Secure the clutch pedal retaining clip on the left hand side...

11. There is a tab to slide a screw-driver in to prise the shaft across...

12. This should allow you to prise the right hand retaining clip back in!

13. Attatch the clutch cable to the pedal assembly

14. Attatch the clutch cable to the selector fork

15. Pump the pedal to self-adjust the ratchet mech...

16. Make a coffee and eat a few cookies!
