the car wasn't slated it suprised me!!! did i got on an say look at this piece of sh*t? NO as for sayin things in person if i have something to say i'll say it so if a problem has arisen by me posting my views on a public forum then approach me about it in person...we all know what each other drives so when you see the car come and see me about it :!:

tbh imho if it had a maxi spoiler and smaller front splitter i think it would look cracking, and bright green, stands out!!

Whats this "you lot" lark, dont tar us all with the same brush! Personally the car isnt to my taste but i can see the attraction with building it and can see what work has gone into not only the body but the engine as well which is where my interest lies, but that doesnt mean we should all say that we like everybody's car just to save a debate as it would be quite a boring place to be. There is always a certain amount of slating on EVERY forum.
we've had it before, 'another person' posted pics of his car and a few of us said it wasnt to our tastes then he started swearing at us, sending abusive pm's then went over to clio16v forum slagging us off lol
as i said that time, we all dont have the exact same tastes so when someone posts a pic (inc me) dont expect everyone to say they love the car etc

i understand this. but i did not post these pics. also i understand that people especially on this forum will not like my car. this is all fine. i built it for me. anyway this is not a problem. its was comment about me being a chav i did not like. anyways it,s all good banter. no hard feelings to any one.

I have to say that sometimes i feel embarassed to have a sub and amp in my car when i go to meets and everybody else's cars have no heater matrix in the name of saving weight, i feel like an outcast and keep my boot shut, i darent tell people i have a spare wheel either :lol:

PMSL @ this thread. No you didnt say you thought my mudflaps were chavvy Daz, but many people have said before that they didnt like them, an no doubt will again. I dont take it to heart, as its meerly peoples opinions.

yeah but its being sorted the paint. still waiting for the new cylinder head after a year but have got the police involved and that seams to have done the trick. hopefully be done again within three months. but depends on work. busy time of year now. flat out for the next 8 months.
what happened with the cyl head?? wasnt pinched was it? :?
no sent to a respected tuner. paid for all the work. then never retuned. got the police to pop round and ask for it back.
ah rightio! didnt think someone would of half inched one!
hopefully everything will be sorted

Not really my cup of tea tbh, though I don't think it would be too bad with the spoiler and splitter changed. Although its not to my taste looks like a lot of work has gone in, and after hearing about the engine it will be fookin awesome, lol.
The 306 lights are'nt a good look imo...I would have done a full maxi rep in grey with decals/graphics :twisted:

As said on 16 valver, liquid yellow would be a good choice :D
yeah this is the one with 325mm four pots leda coilovers rebuilt gearbox with grippper lsd and a high boost turbo conversion.

yes that because there was no engine glass or trim fitted. it has since been lowered on leda coilovers.

It should be the fastest mk1 ever once it's up and running....I'm not keen on the lights and rear spolier but I can appriciate any rapido car! :)

I just dont like it. Thats my personal opinion, and the freedom of speech gives me the ability to express it!
I could say 100 things but I'm not gonna start this off again. However if the thing had been on e bay and spotted an no one knew who it belonged to, I think the comments would have been different somewhat.
However, I do appreciate that a lot of time and money has gone into it. But my interest is only in the engine. There is a lad lives not far from me that has one similar, turbo jobby, it was max power featured some years ago and the engine built in belgium. I told him to his face that I hated it, as its in shite flip paint, however I also joked with him that I was gonna steal his engine. LOL
He took it light heartedly, and we laughed about it. Even when i told him I'd rather ride a bicycle than be seen riding in his car! LOL
You cant expect everyone to like what car you have, I certainly dont expect everyone to like mine.

It has seen better days now. Although the engine was good for 250 brake, my mate has worked on it. Some time ago mind, havent seen it in a while.
has this car got a vent on the vent? i seem to remember a picture of a green clio like that? maybe on bb? i also remember i ps off the car without the fron tsplitter and the vent on vent and it looked mint!

it had a k-tec kit with huge FMIC,not sure on the bonnet though,think it may have been bad boy'd :?
yeah this is the one. lost the front splitter thinking about a carbon bonnet with normal vent.
