ph 1 fuel pump

Whats the crack with these, i need to install an uprated item in my beast, i am sure the ph1 pumps are located differently

The pump and sender unit are separate.
To get to a ph1 pump you need to drop the tank etc.

I think there was a mod on the cup racers to cut a hole above the fuel pump, and then seal it up so access is easier.
Would be alot more hassle free way of doing things.

If it's a Ph1.5.... 1993 onwards it will have a top of tank fuel pump

mines on a j and has a top of tank fuel pump. swapped mine for an uprated scooby item

What trim did it come with??

Maxi is it an easy swap through the top,also winston do you have bump strips ph2 and the carbon boot protector

mines a K reg valver and mine has the same part number on the top of it as a Williams one, so mine should be a complete unit

And does the loom cross over, still havent even taken my back seats out on my bust phs1.

easiest way to get pump out gunner is to cut a hole just over the pump, thats what i did with mine bcos there was no way that fuel tank was coming out of my car i'd have never got it back on again the brackets are that rusty, lol
