With a De cat you should run a Lamba sensor? yes or no?

Ive heard this somewhere ....leaving it for the gurus

As there is no cat the lamba sensor is not needed and gives false messages to the ECU ...as there is no cat in place

Most prob bull :? :? :? :?: :? :? :?

As dan says as its before the cat it makes no difference so leave it disconnected. If you're decatting a modern car which has a lambda sensor before and after the cat you have to **** about with the ECU as the 2nd lambda will send false readings to the ECU causing the car to run shit.
