So are there actually any LEGAL conversion kits for MK1s?

I've been thinking about getting some.. but after watching that i know i'll get pulled by the sharks for them being far too bright..

isnt it the glass lense on the front of the light that is the problem? as in it isnt designed to scatter hid lighting properly?

Has a business tester Astra with factory HID's awhile ago at work and got flashed constantly off people getting blinded.

Are these cheap kits from the USA people are fitting E marked then?

****s sake!

I understand the reasonings I really do but you would have though they'd have managed to work around this problem somehow - I still maintain that they aid in road safety if the glare to other road users was fixed...

My headlights are slightly dipped lower than normal and I've not one single person complain at me...

Sigh - looks like I'm gonna have to take em off then!
