I know the evo 1 and evo2's are great cars. But what about the non evo ones?

Can you still buy a good condition Delta integrale in one of the lower specs and have fun? Or are they slow? Will the handling be the same? Are they all 4wd?

Any info appreciated. Thinking about a lesser spec but tidy integrale.

140BHP and do not think they are 4WD, good for hunting down XR3i in their days but other than that they rattle like **** and don't have the performance to compensate IMHO

even the Delta Evo's aint that quick, power delivery must be poor or something cos my old Willy engine had no problem keeping up with one from standing, caught some ground off the line after initially losing it and that was it. Glued!

Also maintenance is way more expensive than the Williams if you want to keep it all original I've been told.

Intergral

Part of an intergration equation IIRC

All Integrales were 4WD, as that's kind of what the name means I guess- 'Integral' drive, front and rear.

They did make 2WD Lancia Deltas, but they were kind of like a warm hatch. They also did 4WD Deltas though. And a turbo one. 165bhp was their peak.

It's like thinking of the Lancia Delta as an Escort RS2000 (90s), with 2WD or 4WD option, and the Integrale as the Cosworth, with different developments emerging.

Any Integrale is pretty amazing, from the early non-evo 8v and 16v, to the wide-track Evo1 and Evo2.

Hope that helps :)

I thought only the very first 8v ones wer 165bhp. They then moved up to 185bhp when the 16v came out, but I'm not usure what the Evos were running.

Superb cars and very sought after (especially the Evos), but the 4wd game moved on very quickly once the Japs got involved. An Evo 1 or 2 Grale looks amazing though.

I'm pretty sure the first Integrales were 8v and 185bhp. Then the 16v came out with 200bhp, followed by the 210bhp Evo and then the Evo 2 with 215bhp. Could be wrong though! :?

It looked loverly, worth getting even if its slow.

The 8v still does 0-60 in about 6.6 seconds and 130mph. No way near the current Jap brigade, but we all know (better than most), like the Clio, that's not what you'd buy it for.

Were all the Intergrales LHD??

Mark_Ritchspeed

Yep all LHD. Any that have been converted to RHD are much less sought after.
