I have been to the garage and i have a small amount of play in my front wheels. The reason is the knuckle joint on my track rods has worn.
So i need some new track rods. Track rods are £70 each from Renault or £35 each without track rod ends depending on whether they are male or female.
My question is how easy are they to change? Could i do it myself. I dont fancy the £70 odd quid labour it will be, for something that is effectively unbolting the track rod from the rack and the track rod end.
Also what tools will i need. I have basic tools but nothing special. Also are track rod ends easy to fit.
I will get the tracking done after i have had it done obviously.
